Position 1: Solution Architect - Data center Migration PM

Location: Hybrid (2-3 onsite Long Island - Hicksville)

Who are we looking for?
A senior level Hybrid Infrastructure Architect having 15-18+ years of experience working as Enterprise/Infrastructure architect and go to person for accounts team in reputed company. The Individual should be passionate about technology and would have worked as Architect to end client for short- and long-term Infrastructure transformational projects.
Technical Skills:
•   15-18+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and consolidating data center infrastructure with expertise in VMware, Windows, Linux, AWS, and HPE GL (Good understanding).
•   Strong experience in assessing existing data center environments and conducting business workshops to understand the needs and challenges for consolidation and migration to new Colo's or cloud platforms like AWS.
•   Expertise in designing scalable, highly available, and secure data center infrastructures using VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN), AWS, and on-premises server platforms (Cisco UCS, Client, DELL, IBM).
•   Conducts thorough assessments of current infrastructure, identifies gaps, and recommends solutions for optimization, consolidation, and modernization using VMware, HPE GL, and other relevant technologies.
•   Leads the design and planning of data center consolidation strategies, ensuring proper integration with cloud platforms (AWS), Active Directory, and existing IT systems.
•   Collaborates with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and design architectures that meet both technical and business objectives.
•   Skilled in developing detailed data center migration plans, including resource allocation, timeline, and risk management, to ensure smooth transitions to new Colo's or cloud environments.
•   Expertise in migrating legacy systems to VMware-based virtualized environments and AWS cloud platforms, ensuring seamless application, data, and infrastructure migration with minimal downtime.
•   Works closely with engineers and technical teams, providing guidance and mentorship throughout the migration process, ensuring adherence to best practices and successful execution.
•   Leads business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) solution designs, ensuring that recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) are met for both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
•   Experienced in integrating and managing identity and access management systems (Active Directory) in both hybrid and fully cloud-based data center architectures.
•   Proficient in planning and implementing the consolidation of physical and virtual environments, optimizing resource usage and improving performance for business-critical applications.
•   Provides leadership in evaluating and selecting the appropriate technologies (VMware, AWS, HPE GL, etc.) for data center projects, ensuring that selected solutions align with the organization's long-term goals.
•   Develops and manages the technical documentation for all phases of the data center consolidation, including architecture design, migration planning, and implementation processes.
•   Mentors and leads teams of engineers, ensuring successful execution of migration tasks, problem resolution, and continuous improvement of data center operations.
•   Works cross-functionally with network, storage, and security teams to ensure that all elements of the infrastructure are well-integrated and meet operational requirements.
•   Leads efforts to automate and streamline data center operations using VMware, AWS, and other tools to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
•   Co-ordinate with Citrix/Database/Backup & Storage architects to define the transformation journey, planning, consolidation, design and deployment of Future Infrastructure Process Skills:
•   Help team with critical technical know how
•   Strong knowledge on ITIL and worked on incident/change/problem on regular basis.
•   Strong in Technical Documentation and design process and standards
•   Strong experience in Migration framework and methodologies Behavioral Skills :
•   Must have superior problem-solving skills with extremely high levels of initiative and assertiveness.
•   Effectively collaborate with stakeholders, Customers and Partners in a Service Delivery environment
•   Able to thrive in rapid environment and adopt new technology Fastly.

•   Identify the Gaps and provide documentation / suggestion faced during Execution. Qualification:
•   Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.
•   15-18+ years of relevant experience in DC & Cloud Infrastructure transformations
•   Must have the below certifications
•   AWS Certified architect
•   Windows/Linux Certifications
•   VMware certified architect. Position 2: Solution Architect - Storage Migration / Data Migration

The Individual should be passionate about technology and would have worked as Architect to end client for short- and long-term Backup & Storage transformational projects.
Technical Skills:
•   12-15 years of experience in designing, architecting, and consolidating backup and storage solutions across multiple data centers.
•   Expertise in backup and storage technologies such as Commvault, VEEAM, Rubrik, 3PAR, NetApp, EMC Data Domain, and AWS.
•   Proven experience in leading large-scale backup and storage consolidation projects, migrating from diverse platforms to a unified solution.
•   Strong background in consolidating backup infrastructures to Commvault in a new Colo, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
•   Deep expertise in storage migration, moving from multiple storage platforms to a single, unified storage solution, ensuring high availability and scalability.
•   Extensive experience in disaster recovery and backup strategy development, including data retention, archival, and recovery policies.
•   Proficient in designing and implementing hybrid cloud backup architectures and ensuring efficient integration with on-premises systems.
•   Leads the planning, execution, and optimization of backup migration projects, ensuring smooth data transition to Commvault and new storage environments.
•   Skilled in analyzing existing backup and storage environments, identifying inefficiencies, and developing strategies for optimization and cost reduction.
•   Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align backup and storage solutions with enterprise-wide IT and business continuity strategies.
•   Strong experience in capacity planning for backup infrastructure and storage systems, ensuring future scalability and performance.
•   Develops and enforces best practices, policies, and governance for backup and storage, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
•   Provides mentorship to junior and senior engineers, leading them in the execution of complex consolidation and migration tasks.
•   Expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in backup and storage environments during migration and consolidation.
•   Ensures successful backup and storage migrations with minimal downtime, meeting all service level agreements (SLAs) for RTO and RPO.
•   Works closely with leadership to ensure that backup and storage solutions meet business requirements, security standards, and budget constraints. Process Skills:
