Solution Architect

Astute Business Solutions is an Oracle Cloud Partner and a consulting firm specializing in Oracle SaaS, PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, and Ellucian Banner, headquartered in Dublin, CA. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the following full-time position:

Job Title: Solution Architect (SAP to Oracle Fusion SCM Migration) Location: Onsite/Remote (50/50)
Duration: Full-Time Employment (FTE) or Contract Position
Travel: Occasional client visits; primarily remote work
Salary Range: $155,000-$160,000 + annual bonus or Hourly Rate

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:
o Lead the design and implementation of the Oracle Fusion SCM solution
for the O2C, P2D, and S2P modules, ensuring it aligns with business
needs and IT strategy.
o Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other
architects to define and translate business requirements into technical
solutions.
o Develop high-level solution architecture, including system integrations,
customizations, data migration strategies, and reporting needs.

SAP to Oracle Fusion SCM Migration:
o Oversee the end-to-end migration process from SAP to Oracle Fusion
SCM, with a focus on data migration, process re-engineering, and system
integration.
Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure a smooth
transition, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues during
migration.
o Lead the planning and execution of the migration strategy, focusing on
minimal disruption to business operations.

Business Process Optimization:
o Drive process improvements across the O2C, P2D, and S2P modules,
identifying areas for automation, efficiency gains, and best practices.
o Ensure that business processes are mapped effectively to the Oracle
Fusion system while considering both short-term and long-term goals.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
o Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams and guide technical
experts during design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
o Partner with Oracle consultants and developers to ensure the solution is
designed and delivered in line with Oracle Fusion best practices.
o Collaborate with other architects to ensure seamless integration with other
systems (e.g., Finance, CRM, Inventory).

Customization & Configuration:
o Work with the functional team to configure Oracle Fusion SCM to meet the
specific business requirements of the O2C, P2D, and S2P processes.
o Recommend and implement customizations as required to address unique
business needs, ensuring that they align with Oracle Fusion capabilities
and do not disrupt future system upgrades.

Testing & Quality Assurance:
o Oversee the design and execution of test plans for functional, integration,
and performance testing, ensuring that all solution components work as
expected.
