Forge is based in Columbus, Ohio, in a 200,000 square foot facility known affectionately by team members as, the Hearth. The Hearth, is a custom-designed cGMP facility dedicated to AAV manufacturing and hosts scalable, end-to-end manufacturing services.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our NetSuite ERP and other enterprise applications. In this role, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, specifically within the Commercial, Finance, HR and other G&A domains. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in NetSuite ERP modules and a proven ability to drive enterprise-wide system improvements within a regulated biotech/pharma environment.

What You'll Do:

Solution Design & Architecture:
  • Define and implement scalable NetSuite ERP architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Lead the end-to-end design of NetSuite ERP solutions, including finance, procurement, order management, and inventory management modules.
  • Establish integration strategies to connect NetSuite with other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, HRIS, data analytics platforms).
  • Drive the standardization and optimization of business processes through technology.
Implementation & Enhancement:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Work closely with software vendors to configure and customize systems, such as ERP (NetSuite), CRM (HubSpot) and HR Systems.
  • Lead data migration, validation, and transformation efforts for ERP implementations and upgrades.
  • Develop and enforce governance models for system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Establish best practices for workflows, reporting, dashboards, and analytics within NetSuite.
  • Define performance metrics and conduct regular system health checks to ensure optimal operation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for NetSuite ERP enhancements, including financial compliance and reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Leadership:
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Commercial, and IT teams to support their digital transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for business users and super users.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to leadership on NetSuite capabilities and roadmaps.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party solutions for potential integration.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP solution architecture, with a strong focus on NetSuite ERP.
  • Deep understanding of NetSuite finance, procurement, order management, and inventory modules.
  • Experience designing and implementing NetSuite integrations with other enterprise systems (CRM, HRIS, BI tools, etc.).
  • Knowledge ofdata analytics systems, Finance, HR, and/or Commercial enterprise systems
  • Strong expertise in business process mapping, automation, and system optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, GxP, HIPAA, SOX) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST APIs) is a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite (in Columbus, Ohio) up to 3 days/week on average is strongly preferred.
This position works in a typical office environment where the physical work demands will vary depending on the specific tasks and duties required of the job. This is largely a sedentary role; persons holding office positions are generally subject to inside environmental conditions having the lighting, temperature, and noise of an open floor-plan office environment. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Regularly communicate with others in person, over the phone, and electronically. Must be able to move and/or carry objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
