Position: Solution Architect - Dynamics 365 F&O Key Responsibilities
  1. Solution Review & Consulting: Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing Dynamics 365 implementation (Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, Sales modules, & Service) to assess:
    1. Warehouse & inventory management processes (e.g., receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping).
    2. Data accuracy, reporting gaps, and process bottlenecks.
    3. Perform gap analysis between current state and industry best practices.
    4. Deliver a detailed assessment report with:
      1. Strengths, weaknesses, and risks in the current setup.
      2. Prioritized recommendations for process improvements, system optimizations, and automation opportunities with a paperless environment.
      3. Present findings to stakeholders (IT, Operations, Supply Chain teams) and align on an optimization roadmap.
  2. Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) Implementation: Design & Configure Dynamics 365 WMS:
    1. Set up warehouse hierarchies, location tracking, and bin management.
    2. Implement advanced picking strategies (e.g., cluster picking, wave picking, crossdocking).
    3. Configure mobile device workflows (RFID, barcode scanning, handheld PDT devices).
    4. Configure invoice capture to automate all the GRV's and LPO.
    5. Enable automated replenishment, cycle counting, and real-time inventory tracking.
  3. Optimize Warehouse Processes:
    1. Streamline inbound/outbound logistics (ASN processing, automated put-away, load planning).
    2. Implement wave & labor management to improve workforce efficiency.
    3. Integrate IoT devices (sensors, AGVs, conveyor systems) for smart warehousing.
  4. Testing & Validation:
    1. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with warehouse staff.
    2. Knowledge transfer & Training to the IT Department.
    3. Resolve system issues and fine-tune configurations for peak performance.
  5. Integration & Customization:
    1. Ensure seamless data flow between Dynamics 365 WMS, Finance, Procurement, and Sales modules.
    2. Custom Development (if needed):
      1. Extend Dynamics 365 functionality using Power Apps, Power Automate, or Azure Logic Apps.
      2. Develop custom reports & dashboards (Power BI) for real-time warehouse analytics.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training:
    1. Business Process Alignment: Work closely with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and IT to ensure the solution meets operational needs.
    2. Define KPIs (order fulfillment time, inventory accuracy, labor productivity) for success tracking.
    3. Change Management & Training:
      1. Conduct workshops & training sessions for end-users (warehouse staff, supervisors, IT admins).
      2. Create user guides, process documentation, and best practice manuals.
      3. Provide post-go-live support & continuous improvement recommendations.
