Viderity is seeking a
Solution Analyst III (IT Analyst III) to support business and technology teams by analyzing complex problems and identifying appropriate solutions. This senior-level role conducts research, gathers requirements, evaluates options, and proposes solutions that align with organizational goals. Solution Analysts III play a critical role in supporting decision-making, recommending technologies and processes, and assisting with the implementation of solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business processes, systems, and challenges to identify appropriate technological or operational solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive research and gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Evaluate technologies, processes, and tools to determine the best fit for organizational goals.
- Develop detailed solution proposals, including business cases and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and project managers, to ensure smooth solution implementation.
- Support solution implementation through testing, documentation, training, and change management support.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Provide insights and recommendations on process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Document findings, analysis, and recommendations clearly and concisely for technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, solutions analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
- Familiarity with business process modeling, workflow analysis, and solution assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements.
- Experience supporting project lifecycles, including design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills: - Experience supporting Federal Government or large-scale enterprise IT projects.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system integration concepts.
- Certification(s) in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Experience using business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms.
Salary range: $105,000 - $125,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications)
