Description
The Solution Analyst's role is to ensure that the latest technology is deployed and utilized by the company. This position works side by side with the business or end user throughout the implementation process. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of systems management, maintenance, and performance. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and deploy solutions. Responsibilities:
• Implement complex new products and services for the business
• Analyze requirements and gather requirements needed for implementation. Understand current processes utilized by end users
• Design and document to be process for end user
• Assess and document requirements while adhering to established procedures
• Demonstration and training on new products and services for the business. May provide support for a period of time
• Verify solution is performing as expected after implementation
• Utilize details provided to establish specific information needed for end solution. Coordinates data for validation in testing environments
• Conducts testing to verify solution is working as expected
• Works on multiple items/projects simultaneously.
• Escalates challenges and issues in timely manner. Ensures positive outcome for business
• Work as key member of project teams
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with project team members as well as business or end users
• Create training materials for new solutions
• Troubleshoot and support implemented solutions
• Serve as product expert for different systems in portfolio.
• Collaborate with different team and department members in analyzing solutions/features
• Create needed test scripts for testing of new application/product.
• Pursue training of new technologies that will be utilized by the company
• Ability to run small initiatives with minimal assistance Position Requirements: Formal Education & Certification
• 4-year College or University degree required or at least 4 years' experience in industry or similar field in lieu of degree
• Degree in the field of computer science, management information systems, supply chain, business management preferred Knowledge & Experience (at least 2 years with each of the following)(can be concurrently)
• Experience in the operation and analysis of software systems and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies
• Extensive experience with core software applications
• Working technical knowledge of SQL (Preferred)
• Previous training experience
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Liaison between the business and IT teams for the projects they are assigned to. They need a basic understanding of business function, process, and responsibility. They also need a basic understand of technical applications, knowing how code works, basic SQL skills, application testing, etc. They would like experience with TMW, their transportation management software, but it is not necessary as they will teach them on the application. This person needs strong communication intelligence as they will be speaking with truck drivers and business executives on a daily basis. Experience working and communicating with business executives is a must have. They need to ability to effectively communicate with their audience and be relatable overall. Heavy preference will be given to candidates with transportation industry experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
