Soldering Technician

Job Description:

• We are looking for an Electronics Assembler to build small parts, circuit cards, and wire basic electronic components.
• You'll work from schematics and instructions to install, solder, and assemble parts for various electronic systems.
• The role involves hands-on work using tools and soldering equipment, following quality standards like J-STD-001.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire components and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Install electronic parts on circuit boards, panels, and chassis.
• Solder connections according to J-STD-001 standards.
• Perform tasks such as potting, cleaning, bonding, and coating parts.
• Build and mount wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Install completed parts into enclosures, cabinets, or vehicles.
• Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, and verbal instructions.
• May occasionally operate small production machinery for coil assembly.
• Follow safety procedures while handling tools and chemicals.

Required Skills:

• Experience with hand and power tools for electronic assembly.
• Soldering skills in compliance with J-STD-001 standards (Required).
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of electronics assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks like sitting/standing/crimping.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with wiring cable assemblies and subassemblies.
• Familiarity with potting, bonding, and coating electronic components.
