The Field Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, execution and optimization of the installation of Precision Solar Renewables projects. As field engineer, you will apply clean energy technology into application in the field overseeing field data collection and managing project deployments. As a critical bridge between pre-construction and operations, you will work closely with project managers, site supervisors and the construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a Full time exempt position that requires 100% travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate project feasibility.
Set, implement, and maintain schedules and budgets to ensure project completion. Coordinate with subcontractors, service providers, material vendors, and customers to share project updates, set expectations and meet key milestones.
Assist in the preparation of the project execution strategies, schedules and budgets; collaborate with the project management team to develop detailed scopes of work.
Supervise on-site installation processes, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards and project timelines.
Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to construction teams during installation.
Maintain accurate record of project progress, including daily reports, material inventory, and change orders
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth project execution.
Promote and enforce safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
