Position Summary The Software Trainer (training specialist) develops and executes software training plans, materials, and classes to teach team members. Initially, the focus will be on M365 training across the organization. This individual will review results and trainee feedback to enhance training and identify new opportunities to offer software training.
Responsibilities - Design interactive training materials and courses to meet the needs of the organization, including recording sessions and adding them to the existing overall training hub. Maintains training programs for new and existing software. Supports development and enhancement of product user manuals, training guides, and quick reference materials.
- Conducts sessions both online and in-person. Serves as a product specialist to team members. Creates and implements training effectiveness tools and methodology used to measure, evaluate and improve training programs.
- Collaborates with Marketing to promote training offered. Ability to communicate effectively to all members within the organization and communicate instruction to non-technical users.
- Performs special project assignments as requested, including compilation of survey/report data, development of presentations and creation of special summaries and reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned and needed to affect the work of the IS Division.
Minimum Requirements - Degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant fields preferred.
- Three to five years' experience in training, application training or instructional training required. Healthcare experience a plus.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate and collaborate with executives and all team members.
- Mastery of the use of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and Sharepoint. Ability to learn organization's database, content management system and other software as needed.
- Meticulous grammar, editing, writing, presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment in making independent decisions with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrate and educate on efficiency improvements using digital tools.

- Associates degree or higher
