Job Title: Software Test EngineerJob Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Software Test Engineer to develop and execute critical care tests on our state-of-the-art Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy PrisMax device. You will work within an Agile (Scrum) framework and with a real-time embedded software system utilizing Green Hills Integrity OS within a complex multi-therapy electro-mechanical device/platform.

Responsibilities
  • Develop test protocols and execute software tests, including scripted protocol execution, ad hoc testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Create and update tests in MicroFocus ALM and perform peer reviews.
  • Estimate work, write test documentation, and investigate high-priority field issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, other testers, systems engineers, and other cross-functional personnel to deliver the safest solution possible.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in software testing.
  • Knowledge of medical devices.
  • Expertise in test engineering and test plan development.
  • Experience with hardware testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in embedded software testing in a regulated industry.
Work Environment

You will work in an Agile (Scrum) environment with a focus on real-time embedded software systems. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, testers, and systems engineers. The work setting includes using advanced tools like MicroFocus ALM and Green Hills Integrity OS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
