Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000

Software Test Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation tests for functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Create test automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C programming languages.
- Execute automated test cases to verify software functionality and performance.
- Develop and integrate frameworks that support maintainability, reusability, and adaptability to evolving project requirements.
- Develop and maintain different testing stages into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze and report on test results, identify defects or gaps, and document issues accurately and efficiently with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Design and execute performance and load tests to evaluate software scalability and reliability under various conditions.
Software Test Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, software testing, or a similar position
- Must be experienced with open-source test automation frameworks. Playwright is preferred
- Must have ability to automate Web Browser User Interfaces and API endpoints.
- Experience with qTest for defect and case management tracking.
- Experience working with and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery, preferably with Azure DevOps.
- Strong background with object-oriented code with the ability to show strong programming skills in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C .
- Experience with product/project management and design tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Figma as well as Agile and SAFE methodologies
- Knowledge of 403(b), 401(k) pension record-keeping systems, and/or health and welfare benefits systems preferred but not required.
