Position Summary: A Software Test Analyst at Cadwell is empowered work with product management, software engineering and hardware engineering to ensure the quality of Cadwell's products and software. This position will be located at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA.
Key Duties / Responsibilities: - Work with engineering leaders, project management and the test lead to contribute to the test strategy for an assigned product line
- Author test cases, primarily manual but with opportunities to grow into automation
- Contribute to the execution of test plans related to regular releases
- Perform initial validation of new features and bug fixes
- Other duties as assigned
Education / Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
- Software development and/or automated testing experience a plus
- Development or testing experience with C and WPF a plus
- A good understanding of Agile product development methodologies
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: - General office positions may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, and 2-way written/verbal communication. Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
