Software Technical Developer (BHM-36-STD)
Location: Birmingham, AL (Fixed location with remote work possible, 80% onsite)

About the Role:
- Subject matter expert in both front-end and back-end development.
- Mentor developers, ensure code quality and industry standards.
- Handle complex development tasks independently.
- Bridge communication between business, design, architecture, and development teams.
- Ensure correct requirements capture and oversee technical delivery.
- Remove roadblocks, provide feedback, and perform evaluations.
- Participate in training and technology education.
- Manage team sizing and task prioritization.
- Travel up to 10% required.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure architectural and compliance standards are met.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Plan, release, and schedule software development.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of experience in:
- MVC patterns, WEB, microservices
- Design patterns and testing frameworks
- Agile methodologies, Scrum, JIRA, confluence, clean code principles
- Web frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, .NET MVC
- Containerized applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
