The selected candidate will support the analysis, planning, design, integration, and implementation of C5ISR JWICS systems capabilities. This role requires evaluating Commercial and Government Off-the-Shelf (COTS/GOTS) technologies, supporting system operations, maintenance, and upgrades, and serving as a technical expert for PACAF Intelligence systems.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Analyze and develop plans and designs for theater-wide classified C4I systems capabilities.
  • Develop C4I systems integration and implementation plans and schedules.
  • Evaluate and recommend COTS/GOTS hardware and software applications.
  • Monitor project status, prepare milestone status reports, and brief program managers and client staff.
  • Serve as the PACAF Intelligence (JWICS) Systems Subject Matter Expert, providing command-wide technical and administrative support for:
  • System installation
  • Testing
  • Administration
  • Maintenance
  • Programming
  • Provide operational and maintenance support for C4I systems, including:
  • System administration
  • Troubleshooting
  • Repairs of existing systems and/or networks
  • Support installation and upgrading of C5ISR architectures as directed by the government.
  • Deliver innovative solutions through collaboration and research.
  • Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of:
  • World Wide Web, Intelink, and intranet technologies
  • Network protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX)
  • Possess current knowledge of DoD Information Security policies and programs:
  • COMPUSEC
  • INFOSEC
  • Multi-level security
  • Emerging information warfare concepts
  • Understand military operations, organizations, and information requirements during peacetime, crisis, and conflict.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Air Force and Joint Intelligence Systems (e.g., GALE, GCCS).
  • Operate effectively within the Microsoft Windows environment and related platforms:
  • Server 2003/2007/2012
  • VMware
  • Exchange
  • Outlook
  • SharePoint
  • Communicate effectively-written and orally-with strong briefing skills, especially for Senior Government Leadership (GO/FLAG/SES).
  • Proactively analyze complex problems and identify efficient solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong project management and customer service skills.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • (Master's preferred; additional experience may substitute for degree)
  • Experience:
  • 8-12 years in C4I/engineering-related activities
  • Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required on Day One
  • Citizenship:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Certifications:
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II - Security+ required
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience configuring network devices
  • Work Ethic:
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 3 years of experience in Storage and/or Exchange support.
  • Strong background in enterprise systems administration and troubleshooting.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
