We're looking for a skilled Software Support Engineer with expertise in monitoring, containerized Java applications, networking, databases, and automation to ensure system reliability, performance, and seamless operations.

What will your job look like?

• Utilize Elasticsearch, Kibana, Azure KQL, and Log Analytics Workspace for log management and monitoring.

• Work with Prometheus and Application Insights to track application performance and ensure system health.

• Support containerized Java applications running on Kubernetes, using Kubernetes commands and troubleshooting performance issues.

• Maintain and support Java Spring Boot microservices, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.

• Manage networking and security, ensuring smooth communication between services while handling protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, and TCP.

• Work with SQL databases (Oracle/SQL Server), NoSQL databases (Cassandra), and messaging frameworks (Kafka, Service Bus) to ensure data integrity and seamless messaging.

• Leverage Python and Bash scripting to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and improve operational efficiency.

• Investigate and resolve issues using log search tools (Kibana) and performance monitoring tools (Prometheus, Application Insights, AppDynamics).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and performance.

All you need is

• Experience with monitoring tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, Azure KQL, and Prometheus.

• Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes-based Java applications and troubleshooting microservices.

• Strong networking and security knowledge, including firewalls, load balancers, and gateways.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Cassandra) and messaging frameworks (Kafka, Service Bus).

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation.

• Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively.

• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers and operations teams.
