The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will work closely with software developers, systems engineers, and project teams to define quality standards, perform validation activities, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:
•   Develop and maintain software quality assurance processes in alignment with company policies and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001,
•   CMMI, AS9100, or relevant industry-specific standards)
•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review software requirements, design documentation, and test plans to ensure clarity, completeness,
•   and testability
•   Create, execute, and manage test cases and scripts for manual and automated software testing, including unit, integration, system, and
•   regression tests
•   Identify, document, and track software defects and support root cause analysis and resolution
•   Participate in code reviews, peer inspections, and process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards
•   Support software verification and validation (V&V) activities, including formal testing and reporting
•   Ensure proper configuration management and version control of software artifacts
•   Assist with risk assessments and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
•   Monitor and report on software quality metrics
•   Support process improvement initiatives
•   Support internal and external audits as needed Qualifications:

Required:
•   Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
•   Top Secret / SCI security clearance
•   5+ years of experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or defense with software quality engineering or
•   software testing roles
•   Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies
•   Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr), defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), and version control tools (e.g., Git)
•   Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, pytest) is a plus
•   Knowledge of relevant regulatory and industry standards
•   Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
•   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
