Intern will be responsible for working on fast-paced software development project as a software test engineer to support Agilent's BioPharma Strategic Initiatives.
Are you pursuing a degree within life sciences and interested in applying that degree to a software quality career?
- Designs, develops and performs manual tests on Agilent products to meet quality objectives in conformance with customer requirements and required standards and regulations.
- Performs analysis of test results and tracks/reports risk levels during test execution.
- Documents test results, including deviations and defects, for follow-up and modification of products.
- Collaborates with peer engineers and development engineers to address issues and resolve problems.
- Length of work period is for 1 year; no academic credit received. May return for a subsequent assignment.
Qualifications
- Completion of at least sophomore year towards a BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science degree, or enrolled in a master-s degree program at an accredited university.
- Can confidently communicate needs, plans, and achievements to team and higher levels.
- Demonstrates the ability to set priorities and meet commitments
- Can simultaneously participate in multiple issues as they arise in a software development environment.
- Demonstrates a willingness to take on new challenges and learn from the experience of coworkers.
The intern pay rate for this position is 31.3 - $33.26/hour plus eligibility for paid holidays and medicalbenefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay isdetermined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation or training.
