Software Quality Assurance Engineer

SALARY RANGE: $149,588 - 223,105 per year WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Telecommunication Systems Management or a related field. Skills required: Scripting Languages Tool Command Language (TCL), Python, and Perl; Linux; TCP/IP networking and L2/L3 protocols, including Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) or Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP); VLAN technologies, VLL and VPLS; Network testing and monitoring tools, including Wireshark protocols analyzer, Spirent and IXIA; and Version control system, including Centralized Version Control System (CVS), Global Information Tracker (GIT), and editors including Visual (Vi). Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA may be permitted, depending on business need. Skills may be gained through experience or academic coursework.
