Location: Hybrid - two days per week on-site at the North Office Building in Harrisburg, PA
Overview:
We are seeking a Software QA Analyst to support software testing and release coordination efforts for the SURE Modernization Project. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality software releases through the planning, execution, and management of a variety of testing activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the QA Lead, Business Relationship Manager, and Solutions Manager to align testing efforts across multiple development groups while promoting best practices based on EBR-DC methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, construct, and execute comprehensive testing activities, including product, system, unit, load, volume, and network testing
Support and integrate testing functions into the release control process
Collaborate with QA Lead to define and improve testing processes, standards, and strategies
Coordinate cross-functional testing efforts in an Agile development environment
Manage and maintain the test environment to ensure accurate and consistent testing outcomes
Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test data for SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Organize and support user participation in UAT efforts to ensure business requirements are met
Utilize industry-standard tools to manage test cases, defects, and reporting
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, validate results, and improve system quality
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience with:
Microsoft Test Manager or similar test management tool
SoapUI/ReadyAPI for API testing
LoadUI or equivalent tools for performance/load testing
SQL Server for backend validation and queries
LDAP for directory services and authentication testing
Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
2+ years of experience with:
Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipeline support
MS Visio and MS Project for test planning and documentation
Agile project environments, including participation in sprint-based development cycles
3+ years of experience planning and executing testing efforts including:
Developing test plans and test scenarios for SIT and UAT
Coordinating user testing and facilitating successful UAT participation
Experience with enterprise-level release processes and coordinating with multiple development teams
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA best practices
