Software Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and delivering projects that align with our company's goals. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who has strong, proven experience in project management, as well as experience managing a small team. Financial Services industry experience required. You will manage multiple projects, ensure timely delivery, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders of very large clients. You must have the executive presence and ability to create and present to executives on a regular basis. Effectively managing projects through team members is critical to the success of this role.
This is located near downtown Overland Park and is in the office 5 days a week. Occasional travel up to 10%.

What You Will Do in this Role:
• Plan, execute and monitor multiple SaaS-related projects from initiation to completion within the Financial Services industry.
• Manage timelines and resources effectively to deliver projects on time, within scope and on schedule.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Create compelling visual presentations and frequently present at the highest levels of the organization.
What will make you successful in the role?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field ( Business, IT, Project Management).
- Project Management Certification strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, in a technology or SaaS environment.
- 2 years of directly managing a small team (preferred).
- PMP or similar certification.
- Financial Industry experience required.
- Solid understanding of SaaS platforms and related technologies
- Familiarity with project management tools (experience a plus)
- Proven ability to manage projects with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results through your team.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, and Visio
- Professional executive presence- ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
