Join CTS International in a pivotal role supporting the T-7 platform-a next-generation advanced pilot training system. As a Software Integration & Verification Engineer 3, you will be instrumental in ensuring that software systems meet rigorous performance and safety standards. This position is integral to the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team, contributing to the full lifecycle of the T-7 program from concept through in-service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integration and verification activities for software systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Develop flight test readiness reviews, test plans, and test matrices.
- Coordinate with flight test points of contact for test execution, including test coverage support and monitoring for data collection and verification activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to resolve technical issues and ensure successful integration.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements and corrective actions.
- Support the development of software specifications and requirements documentation.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure systems are designed for testability and manufacturability.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to software integration and verification.
- Track and update task progress on a weekly basis.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software/cybersecurity integration and verification, focusing on military or commercial aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of software systems, IT systems, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the T-7 platform or similar aircraft programs.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to aircraft design and testing (e.g., FAA, MIL-STD).
- Proficiency in using engineering tools and software for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
