RCB Fund Services LLC, a securities fraud claims processing center located in East Syracuse, NY, is looking for an experienced C application developer with MS SQL Database administration experience.
The job assumes overall programming responsibilities for all aspects of a sophisticated Microsoft Smart Client application utilizing C and Microsoft SQL Server. Applicant should be able to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes, and interfaces with other systems, and ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding, beta testing, implementing, and documenting all design processes. The position requires that you be able to report on the status of current projects, identify issues, and assess their impact and proactively recommend solutions.
Skill Set Required - Strong understanding of the Microsoft .NET languages (VB.NET, VBA, VBScript, C , C or C , SQL Server, and .NET WinForms).
- Solid MS SQL Server DBA skills including coding, testing and deploying stored procedures for application interface and maintenance sks.
- SQL query development, testing and documenting. Work with analysts, senior developers, and managers to design and develop reporting tools.
Preferred Experience - Proficiency with Excel and building reports using SSMS and SSRS.
- HTML and ASP.NET website coding, design and development.
- Microsoft .NET application development in C
- Visual Studio (2019 preferred)
- Git Source Control

- Experience in programming, testing, and implementation practices.
- Proactive and self-motivated in working to fulfill the objectives of this role.

- General understanding of Federal and industry standards regarding information security. (Sarbanes-Oxley, FISMA, FIPS, NIST, etc.)
- Knowledge of finance or accounting principles is helpful by not required.
