Software Engineering Senior Advisor

Full stack software engineer responsible for developing patterns, processes, and applications that enable other Scrum teams to tackle big data and data science problems. Understand business requirements and work with cross-organizational teams. Utilize big data methodologies to solve business problems through application development, while ensuring security, fault tolerance, and scalability. Write referenceable and modular code. Design and architect software solutions. Ensure ongoing data quality by monitoring data to identify problems before they impact business. Implement data pipelines to identify savings from different utilization management programs on a monthly basis. Perform data processing and performance tuning of queries to improve data processing and retrieving. Perform file ingestion to load data. Create APIs, execute code deployment, create visualizations and reports, analyze logs, schedule jobs, and implement programming solutions. Virtual/Work from home benefit (hybrid schedule) available.
Five years of experience in design and development of data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. Must have experience with: Teradata and Informatica development; ETL design; DDL design; Dimensional and relational database design; Job Scheduling; Agile methodology; UNIX Shell scripts; Star Schema and Snowflake Schema; AWS; Python; Databricks.
Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering
