Your Career

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic leader to manage our team and play a critical role in driving our software-oriented approach to infrastructure and operations. You will oversee essential internal platform tools that significantly enhance our engineering teams' productivity and innovation. If you have a strong foundation in software engineering and a keen understanding of the challenges faced by R&D and DevOps teams, we want to hear from you.

  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including management, about project status, risks, and obstacles.
  • Facilitating open communication with cross-functional teams.
Your Experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience prior to management roles.
  • 2+ years of managing a team of engineers, preferably with experience in a major public cloud provider (GCP preferred).
  • Expertise in modern infrastructure management and engineering practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., GCP, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one public cloud technology (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with software development tools and practices (e.g., git/GitHub, DevOps tools, monitoring, metrics).
  • Experience building tools to enhance system reliability, automate issue remediation, and improve scalability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Adept at conveying complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active listening, conflict resolution skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and make critical decisions swiftly.
  • Understanding of the company's business goals and aligning team efforts accordingly.
The Team

Palo Alto Networks' Cortex group of products, including XDR, XSIAM, and XSOAR, enables organizations to transform securely by utilizing automation, analytics, and continuous innovation. Our DevOps Tooling team underpins the infrastructure, cost optimization, and security necessary for driving our SaaS product management.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation for this role will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, ranging from $215,000 to $245,000 annually. Additional compensation may include stock options and a performance bonus.
