Software Engineer

An opportunity for a Software Engineer to immediately impact a growing team
building multiple new mission-related software capabilities using new technologies. A
Full-Scope Polygraph is required - no exceptions. Responsibilities: Protect mission-critical data using web development technologies including Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Develop, test, implement, and maintain complex applications and databases Build applications providing data entry, reporting, and database querying functions using technologies such as Node.js, Angular, and PostgreSQL Develop front-end user interfaces and work within a commercial cloud infrastructure Apply Agile development practices and maintain awareness of ongoing IT projects and business unit requirements Requirements: Active Full-Scope Polygraph Experience using JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) for API development Front-end web development experience with Angular 2 or above Proficiency in software development languages such as TypeScript and JavaScript Proficiency in markup languages such as XML, JSON, CSS, and HTML Experience with relational databases Experience developing and consuming REST web services integrated with a SQL backend (e.g., Oracle) Familiarity with version control systems like Git Experience developing and maintaining redundant applications hosted in Linux or Unix using Apache server Experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment and recommend sound solutions Understanding of authentication and authorization processes
