Environment of Autonomy Innovative Commercial Approach People over process We are seeking a strong Software Engineer to support our geospatial services program to enhance intelligence operations and capabilities. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients. Position Description (what you will do) This position is a development position and will work on a scrum team tasked with development and maintenance of the current and planned geospatial capabilities Working within a team environment utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile software methodologies and processes Collaborate cross-functionally with subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates Requirements: Education Minimums: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career, or journey, level. Experience with at least one of the following technologies: JavaScript (front-end frameworks preferred), Java, or the Python programming languages. Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility Nice to Have: Angular and AngularJS experience (especially AngularJS to Angular code migration)
Docker/Kubernetes/Containerization experience
Minimum 3-5 years of software development experience including experience with at least one of these languages: JavaScript (front-end frameworks preferred), Java, or Python.
Prior experience working with one or more of the following environments and applications: Red Had Linux, Postgres, AWS, and Apache
Experience working on a Development team within SAFe or other Agile Release Trains
Experience with Angular and/or Angular.JS
Experience with Git and contributing to open source projects
Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams and job functions; bridging both sustainment and enhancement priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
