Amyx is seeking to hire a Sr Software Engineer to support our Army client at the Pentagon. Responsibilities The software engineer will design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software. They will be responsible for troubleshooting production problems related to software applications and providing research, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. They will provide designs and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software. They will address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms and consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. The Software Engineer will perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. They will provide support by assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. They will resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. They will acts as team leader on projects and instruct, assign, direct, and checks the work of other software developers on development team. They will participate in development of software user manuals and meet with stakeholders to elicit requirements, review design changes, and present prototype demonstrations.
Must have the ability to communicate accurate information Qualifications Required: The Sr Software Engineer must have an undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited college or university.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in computer programming using most prevalent languages (examples: .NET, HTML, JAVA).
