Software Engineer with an Active Top Secret/SCI with Security Clearance

TITLE: Software Engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI LOCATION: Aurora, CO 80011 RATE RANGE: $100/hr - $113/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract) DURATION: 12+ months, Contract or Contract to Hire CITIZENSHIP: You must currently be a citizen of the United States and have an active top secret/sci clearance issued by the Department of Defense No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITES As an Software Lead, you will be responsible for activities that are critical to the success of the program. Cost, schedule, and technical execution Earned value management and status reporting Technical and programmatic direction Schedule definition and management Risk and opportunity management IPT level systems engineering Staff planning Agile and DevOps process definition and execution REQUIREMENTS Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of relevant software leadership experience. Ability to perform cost, schedule and technical management on a government software program Experience with satellite command and control principles Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycles Knowledge and understanding of systems engineering functions such as TPMs, operations concept development, requirements management, interface definition and control, and technical risk management Capable of becoming Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified within 6 months of starting Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree Required?
