Software Engineer with Active Top Secret Clearance

TITLE: Software Engineer with ACTIVE Top Secret clearance (US Citizenship is required) RATE RANGE: $50/hr - $64/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract) LOCATION: 100% ONSITE in Richardson, TX 75080 (no relocation package offered) DURATION: 12+ months, or contract to hire No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED GeoLogics is hiring a Java Software Engineer II to support our teams in Richardson, Texas. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to classified programs and technologies you are passionate about. In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well. Obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs. REQUIREMENTS Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 2 years of professional Software Engineering experience. Experience with Java language development Basic knowledge of AWS S3 Experience with the following: Artifactory, Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket, SQL An active and transferable Top Secret security clearance that can be crossed over to a TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. EDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelor Degree Required?
