Millennial Software is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Mid-to-Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer. The team will be working alongside end-users for software and algorithm support to streamline end-user workflows, tradecraft, and alerts. The successful candidate will have the ability to work both independently with little supervision as well as engage with a team to achieve overall project objectives. Essential Functions:
The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical talent with desire to continuously learn and apply new skills and technologies
Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with modern DevOps software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
Software and algorithm development support Enhance existing decision support tools to work with developed prototypes and new sources of data Support integration of data analysis, data fusion, data standardization, and data accessibility tools into user friendly visualizations
Collaborate with end-users and customers to ensure feedback is accurately represented in developed products Requirements
Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or minimum 2 years of prior related experience with a Graduate Degree
Experience in Java or Python programming languages - 3 Years of Experience Linux: 1 Year of Experience Experience with DevSecOps
Experience with Microservices, Kafka and Kubernetes
Experience with Docker containers
Experience with Spring Boot framework
Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud
Experience with agile teamwork, and diverse multi-site geographical team collaboration
