Job Description As a Software Engineer you develop, maintain, and enhance software based on documented requirements. You will also review and test software for adherence to requirements and document results.
Other responsibilities as a Software Engineer will include (but not limited to):
- Resolve problem reports.
- Use tools and methodologies appropriate to the software development environment.
- Provide design input to include hardware/software trades, software reuse, use of COTS/ GOTS, and requirements analysis/synthesis from system level to individual software components
- Support numerous challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Two (2) years of experience in architecting, deploying and general administration of Splunk to include infrastructure planning, data collection and comprehension, development and integration, configuring data inputs and forwarders, data management, creating/managing user accounts, and general troubleshooting and monitoring
