As a Software Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supporting the GSCCE program which is a dynamic, multifaceted program taking MILSATCOM technology and keeping it running while exploring modernization efforts taking the equipment into the 22nd Century. Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Required Qualifications: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Understands and can utilize and code in the following Coding languages: C , Python, JAVA, and others as needed. Designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains software systems that meet industry, customer and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards. Partners with appropriate stakeholders to inform system definition and translate system-level requirements and models into software requirements that meet customer, operational needs, performance requirements and have clear traceability to design, code and test artifacts. Completes software system-level analyses to identify risks, issues and opportunities; integrates and deploys mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle. Performs code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards. Monitors and reviews test completion, verification processes, and issue resolution for software systems. Develops user documentation and training to educate end users about usage of software products. Reviews product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards by tracking and evaluating internal team and supplier performance. Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development. Perform software project management and software supplier management activities. Desired Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Linux/Unix, HTML, CSS, C , C , Java, Python, PowerShell. Experience working with source code, version repository, testing API tools (ReadyAPI/SoapUI, SOAP, REST, etc.), microservices, SpringBoot, Virtualization. Ability to transform requirements into design concepts and entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) Highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong time management skills, adept at project management and staying current with industry trends, demonstrating a strong ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively Data analysis Ability to write precise, detailed technical documentation, Written and verbal communication, Collaboration, Problem-solving.
