Candidate will work in a team environment utilizing Agile software methodologies and processes.
Candidate will autonomously work on complex tasks, assist with the full software development lifecycle, engage with customers for requirements Technical Engineering Meetings and demo's, provide leadership to early career employees, and provide architectural insight to a large code base.
Basic Qualifications:
- Acceptable degree programs will include science and technology related programs such as Computer-Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, etc.
- At least 9 years of technical experience as a Software Engineer in an Agile environment with proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: Java, C , C .
- The candidate will obtain a customer approved security certification within given time constraints identified in 6 months offer letter. The following is a list of acceptable certifications: Security+ or CISSP/SSCP.
- TS/SCI clearance is required.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, unit testing and configuration management, database and System administration.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to support and lead teams.
- Candidate will work in a team environment utilizing software methodologies and processes.
- XML, Windows, .NET, and LINUX/UNIX, system software and scripting development, web development, System analysis, System design, Software Design, Software Development and Implementation, Software Test.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
