Software Engineer Senior

Position Title: Software Engineer Senior Duration: 9 Months Location: Dearborn, MI, 48124

Position Description:
• Full Stack Developer who embraces lean and agile practices.
• Focused on building the Frontend UI and Backend APIs.
• Works in small, cross-functional teams.
• Collaborates directly and continuously with business partners, software engineers, technical anchors, and designers.
• Releases early and often.
• Leads a team focused on building data products and platforms across various skill teams within GDIA.
• Contributes to the Manufacturing Analytics Team.
• Delivers products in the Maintenance and Throughput space.
• Strengthens Client's Core capabilities within Operations skill teams.

Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience in React (preferred) or Angular.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience in REST API development.
• Experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with GCP Cloud platform.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to identify areas of improvement and deliver solutions.
• Experience in Agile/Iterative software development.
• Practiced in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines, including paired programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to the team.

Skills Preferred:
• Experience with GCP BigQuery, Apigee, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL.
• Experience with Python and React unit tests.
• Experience in developing dashboards with charts.
• API development experience with Fast API.

Experience Required:
• 5-7+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in React (preferred) or Angular.
• 2+ years of experience in Python.

Education Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Additional Information:
• Hybrid position.
• Potential to extend beyond 9 months.
• Currently onsite 1 day per week, subject to change.
• General coding proficiency required.
