4M Research is seeking a
Software Engineer/ IV&V Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
As an
IV&V Engineer/Analyst you will develop and manage the process of verifying that system and software products operate and comply with requirements and/or design. You will coordinate test processes including test requirements, planning, execution, and reporting. You will provide technical expertise in testing and product knowledge. You will write test procedures, develop test plans, and configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing. You will provide technical know-how on IV&V tools, operating systems and specialized computing environments. You will also perform evaluations of various software related products and cover assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation. You may be required to travel. Finally, you will utilize organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to work well with others, exercise strong written and oral communication skills, multi-task, and exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
Required - BS in related field; or ABET accredited BS in an Engineering discipline
- Minimum four years related experience including experience with software/system testing activities
- Experience regression testing and performance testing
- Knowledge of military and software development industry standards, software test methodologies, software requirement generation and maintenance
- Some travel
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Desired - Experience with systems and interoperability-level testing of various systems
- Generation of test report documentation
- Experience with Static Code Analyzers (e.g: Fortify, Coverity, etc.)
- Previous Experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
- Experience with C/C , Ada, or other programming languages
