Metrea Advanced Signals (MAS) specializes in developing and building systems for communications and RF sensing.

Position Summary

Metrea Advanced Signals is looking for a Software Engineer to join our busy team specializing in state-of-the-art military communications and signals intelligence products. All our teams operate in a small and agile environment which allows our engineering personnel to work independently on a wide variety of systems and products. Our typical product development cycle is less than one year, which provides our engineering staff with a constant flow of new and interesting projects.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Design and implement AI/ML solutions for RF communications and electronic warfare, including supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning methods
  • Integrate AI/ML solutions developed into existing products and codebases
  • Analyze, design, and implement software subsystems given a set of high-level requirements
  • Independently analyze and improve system performance as needed
Required Skills and Experience
  • BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient at programming in Python, C, and/or C
  • Experience with AI/ML concepts and proficiency in Torch/TensorFlow/Keras/etc
  • Ability to work effectively in a Linux environment
  • Experience with Git or other software version control tools
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Background in Mathematics
  • Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing or Digital Communications concepts
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Willingness to learn or familiarity implementing software in embedded systems
