Talascend is currently seeking an experienced
Software Engineer - ADAS Performance Tools for a contract career opportunity with our client in Southfield, MI.
Candidates must be local and willing to work on-site, no relocation support available. Candidates must also be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship. W-2 only.
Overview Our client is looking for a skilled software engineer to develop tools that accelerate ADAS feature delivery and improve system reliability through performance monitoring and failure analysis.
Responsibilities - Build tools that support faster delivery of ADAS features to customers
- Develop systems to characterize feature failures, monitor performance, and support triage and root cause analysis
Requirements - BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of software development experience in testing for embedded software or automotive environments
- Proficiency in Python or C/C
- Experience with cloud development tools such as Kibana, AWS, Azure, or OCI
- Knowledge of vector databases
- Familiarity with generative AI models and fine-tuning (preferred)
- Understanding of graph-based machine learning algorithms (nice to have)
