Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our cutting-edge platform designed to enhance customer experiences and decision-making capabilities in sports betting. Your responsibilities will span the software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment, all within our collaborative, in-office culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced analytical software applications
- Architect and manage high-performance, scalable infrastructure supporting low-latency data pipelines
- Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS) to facilitate real-time data processing
- Enhance database performance for high-throughput transaction processing
- Implement robust system resilience and failover strategies to ensure data integrity in high-frequency environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges specific to sports betting analytics.
- Continually learn and apply new technologies and frameworks.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in sports, sports analytics, and sports betting markets.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks, especially React.
- Familiarity with building and deploying solutions in AWS.
- Understanding of modern software development methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with low-latency data pipelines and real-time service integration.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $108,000 - $120,000 with up to 50% bonus target
