Summary: As a Software Engineer working in Reality Labs Research (RL-R), you will be creating a build and test automation system that enables high confidence and high velocity iteration of custom research hardware and software. This role is part of a small, focused team leveraging Meta's broad set of tools and creating systems unique to RL-R's needs. You'll have an opportunity to join a new effort with room for novel solutions. RL-R is creating breakthrough hardware that is pushing the boundaries of what's possible, along with novel software systems to enable them.
Required Skills: Software Engineer in Build and Test Infrastructure (Reality Labs Research) Responsibilities:
- Partner with research teams to understand their test/build needs and create durable, extensible systems that can serve multiple device types
- Define and maintain standards for partner teams, including test coverage, reporting, and monitoring
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with large-scale build systems and/or test automation systems
- 4+ years of software industry experience

- Experience supporting products/devices in the field
- Experience with device telemetry, logging, and OTA updates
Public Compensation: $70.67/hour to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
