Step into a technical role as a Software Engineer, where you'll contribute to the development, integration, and enhancement of diverse software systems, supporting mission-critical initiatives and working within a dynamic team environment.

THE JOB
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing.
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements, collaborating with system and hardware engineers to define constraints.
  • Write, modify, and debug software using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Integrate software into new or modified operating environments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain adherence to design requirements.
  • Implement and refine algorithms to meet or exceed performance standards, considering resource constraints and interface requirements.
  • Lead small teams or individual projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and adherence to software development standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements, including documentation and software development standards.
THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience: four (4) additional years of SWE experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Four (4) years of IT application systems experience in technology solutions delivery.
  • Experience with ServiceNow applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Four (4) years of experience with ServiceNow Implementations.
  • Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST and SOAP.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator or Application Developer certification.
THE EXTRAS
  • Experience with ITOM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and Service Portal development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools and automated deployments.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for system performance evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across technical teams and lead process improvements.
