Who we are looking for:
First Eagle Alternative Credit (FEAC) is seeking a candidate for a Software Engineer position. This individual will work closely with the FEAC technology team to design and develop software solutions for FEAC's Tradable Credit and Direct Lending business units. They will also build cloud based and on-premise systems to support FEAC's trading, operations, reporting, and analytics requirements. Additionally, they will participate in full stack application design and development; with direction from tech leads create software from idea inception to implementation.

What you will do:
  • Develop on-premise and cloud-based software and systems
  • Create custom tools and user interfaces to improve efficiency of trading, operations, and analytics
  • Build integrations between cloud and on-premise systems
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines
The qualities you should have:
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, finance or related field
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Python
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Object Oriented Programming in C /.NET
  • Understanding of SQL and relational database technologies
  • Understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Passion for finance and learning about the asset management industry
  • Self-starter, hands on, and resourceful problem solver - someone who "makes it happen"
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • A collegial and collaborative team player capable of partnering both internally and externally
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and work ethic to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Proven organizational and project management skills; ability to handle a diverse workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous with great attention to detail and accuracy

Base Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to - the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
