About The Opportunity:

What you'll be doing:
- Implement performant cloud native software that is: low latency, high availability, and event driven
- Integrate multiple large data sources and databases into our products
- Implement accessibility, security, and data protection requirements
- Implement authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency with Node.js (JavaScript) and at least one other language such as Python, Go, C or a JVM language (Java, Kotlin, or Groovy)
- Experience working with Node.js streams
- Experience with AWS or other cloud computing platforms
- Understanding the nature of event driven systems, asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Familiarity with Node.js frameworks such as Hapi or Express
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3 (Bonus points for experience with React and/or Angular)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment and on multiple tasks
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
