Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems in a multicloud environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems in a multicloud environment.
  • Develop and implement RESTful APIs.
  • Work with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Utilize containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for efficient deployment.
  • Leverage serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
  • Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of backend systems.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high availability and reliability.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or C .
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • In-depth knowledge of serverless computing technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Deep understanding of Azure and AWS cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Experience with cloud-native development and deployment strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
