Software Engineer

Job Type Full-time Description SSI has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join an exceptional team in Laurel, MD. Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph and work onsite each day. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture role.
Manage Linux hosts such as RHEL or CENTOS in an enterprise environment.
Familiar with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
Deploy worldwide enterprise solutions.
Install, configure and manage Linux operating systems.
Work with AWS-based solutions.
Configure and troubleshoot network components.
Implement operating systems enhancements.
Test prototype enterprise scale solutions.
Knowledge of writing scripts in Bash, Python, and executing shell scripts
Deploy applications
Develop and support Java/Javascript, C/C , MySQL, and SQL Server applications.
Experience with using Nessus and Agile methodologies
Perform detailed analysis. Requirements Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
10+ years of related experience
