Overall Purpose : Design, develop / code, test, deploy and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery processes and production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices.
Key Roles and Responsibilities : Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Design, Development and Coding: Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies (Software Engineers design and code applications at a minimum)
- Collaboration and Communication: . Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
- Testing and Debugging: Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting.
- Maintenance and Support: Troubleshot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.
- Deployment: Facilitate and support he software deployment process.

Education/ Experience : Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
