Job Description
In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our U.S. Technical Services team. You will provide essential customer-defined development and integrations for our cloud-native manufacturing SaaS products (Plex). You will work in the Technical Services team alongside other Plex Technical Services Engineers, Delivery Consultants, Solution Architects, DevOps, Product Engineers, Support Services, Sales teams, Customer Success teams, and more.
This is a remote position and will report to our TECHNICAL SERVICES DELIVERY LEAD - PLEX.
Responsibilities - What You'll Do: - Lead and execute a wide range of technical projects from concept to release
- Gather and document requirements from customers and internal stakeholders
- Lead and execute efforts to design and document effective technical solutions that meet our customer's true needs
- Execute on the delivery of new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions and features, making good business and technical judgement to deliver the project within the project timeline
- Support quality assurance testing and software development team best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments throughout Plex
- Create technical articles and documentation,and assist in growing both our internal and public facing knowledge base
- Lead continuous process improvements
- Actively learn and present new technologies and processes
- Prototype solutions to complex problems
- Support pre-sales efforts by participating in scoping and developing estimates for custom development projects
The Essentials -You Will Have: - Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel up to 15%

The Preferred -You Might Have: - Minimum 3+ years' experience in software engineering
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in Structured Query Language Experience (e.g. T-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Experience and familiarity with Database design/data modeling experience
- Experience and familiaritywith API development, communication through web services, or use of Postman
