Software Engineer

Role : Software Engineer (Flight management system-FMS)

location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Fulltime only - onsite

Flight management system(FMS) experience must have. Experience.

Software Eng with FMS (This for development. FMS experience is must).

Responsibilities:

Should have experience in development of embedded software (Must have)


• Programming language: C/C (Must have)

• Participate in requirement gathering, high- and low-level design development and reviews.

• Analyze the design requirements.

• Knowledge of communication protocols like A429, A664 and CAN.

• Designing the models using Simulink and State flow.

• Debugging software with Wind River & JTAG/ICE Emulator.

• Good understanding of Device drivers, file systems, memory management and OS internals.

• Operating System: VxWorks653 / VxWorks / Lynx OS / (any RTOS)

• Development of software in compliance with DO178B (DAL - A/B) (Must Have)

• Tools: DOORS, Synergy, Clear Case, Clear Quest, VectorCAST

• Create documentation compliant to DO-178B certification.
