Apex Systems is seeking a Remote Software Engineer for one of our largest clients. This position will need a deep understanding of Kafka and Java 8+. Please apply if you are interested in this contract position.
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
- Java 11 - 8+ is fine
- Streams / Lambdas / Muti-Threading - Event Processing is critical
- Spring Boot
- Kafka
- Consumer / Producer APIs & Pub-Sub Model
- NoSQL Database experience
- SQL experience for staging in an event stream (storage only)
- JUnit - Unit & Integration testing
- DevOps skills - understand how to develop in a DevOps environment
- Any Cloud experience, AWS, GCP, etc
