Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Stack React.js Developer with experience in Java to join our dynamic engineering team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining innovative web applications and services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from front-end user interfaces to back-end APIs and data management. This is a hands-on role that will provide technical direction to team members in addition to their own development tasks. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience programming Full-Stack ReactJS applications on enterprise platforms and cloud-based technologies. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills:

• 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development - (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example).
• 8 years of experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
• 8 years of experience working with databases (both relational and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.

• 8 years of experience with Web-based user interface development using ReactJS.
• 8 years of experience developing back-end applications and RESTful APIs using Java.
• 8 years of experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.
• 8 years of experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
• 8 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on React.js development.

Preferred Skills:

• 5 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.

• 4 years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
• 4 years of experience Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• 4 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• 4 years of experience in Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) with React.
• 4 years of experience with GraphQL.
• 4 years of experience in Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
• 3 years of experience in building, supporting, maintaining, and monitoring mission critical business, applications/systems, running in highly distributed environments.
• 2 years of experience with Cosmos.
• 2 years of experience with Elastic Search.
