Are you an engineer who can code and sell? Join us as a Deployed Engineer (Pre-sales) at the forefront of AI-powered developer tools revolutionizing how engineering teams work. We're scaling fast and need a skilled engineer to drive the technical side of our sales process with enterprise customers.


We need an engineer who can both code and effectively communicate technical concepts to developers, while also possessing the emotional intelligence (EQ) to close deals. Unlike traditional sales roles, you'll be selling directly to developers, not decision-makers. This means no PowerPoints-just solving real technical problems on the spot. Your focus will be on pre-sales activities, where you'll have a direct impact on closing deals by building trust and demonstrating technical value.


What You'll Do:

  • Partner with an Account Executive to close deals with enterprise clients as the technical expert.
  • Set up and run 4-week technical pilots with customer dev teams, providing hands-on support.
  • Lead kickoff calls, host office hours, and pair-program with customers to demonstrate value.
  • Solve real technical problems on the spot and help dev teams adopt our tools.
  • Focus on pre-sales to build trust and close deals with developer teams.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 - 4 years of software engineering experience, with 9+ months in solutions or pre-sales engineering.
  • CS degree from a top 25 program.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C , etc.)-enough to pair program with customers.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered dev tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT).
  • Strong communicator with experience leading client-facing, technical discussions.
  • Sales-oriented mindset, with a passion for moving into a sales role.
  • Quick learner, self-starter, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
